Meet the Team
Dana Dveris
​Dana Dveris is a filmmaker based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is the Co-Founder of After Moon Productions, LLC, a full-service video production company specializing in creative content, commercials, event videos, and narrative storytelling.
Her independent feature film, Let’s Meet Halfway, co-written and directed with Max Schmitz, premiered at the San Francisco Independent Film Festival, winning the Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature. The film is now available on Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, Tubi, Vudu, and other platforms.

Dana's work spans commercial, branded, and narrative filmmaking. She has produced social media content for luxury brands like Tamara Mellon, worked with Kodak Motion Picture Film, and coordinated post-production and distribution for independent films at SIE Films. Additionally, she serves as the Head of Community Engagement at SIE Society, where she focuses on empowering storytellers who seek to make a positive social and environmental impact through their work.

Now based full-time in the Bay Area, Dana continues to craft compelling video content through After Moon Productions, helping brands tell their stories through high-quality visuals and engaging storytelling.


Max Schmitz
Max Schmitz grew up in Oakland and currently lives in San Francisco. Max started his college career at Occidental College where he studied Media Arts and Culture and English, after two years he transferred to the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts where he graduated with a BA in Film and Television Production. Max has 5+ years of industry experience working on commercial and narrative feature film sets in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles. Max has produced and directed a number of independent projects including independent feature film Let's Meet Halfway which he co-produced and directed with Dana Dveris.

Max's became obsessed with classic and foreign cinema, particularly inspired by the films of Wong Kar-Wai and Andrei Tarkovsky. In his own personal work he sought to embody the ideals of humanism and visual beauty to represent complex emotional journey's, found in many of his favorite international films. Max aspires to bring these same ideals to all aspects of his work, not only in narrative films but in music videos and commercials as well.
